CA NMLS license required.

Must have a minimum of 1 year of current mortgage industry experience working in a wholesale lending environment and be familiar with wholesale lender systems.

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Bonus: Competitive structure to be discussed during interview
  • Full-time position under contract basis with potential for a long-term, full-time position with benefits within a few months for the right person

  • Ability to consistently maintain a set schedule – Monday-Friday, and possibly Saturdays if needed
  • Ability to work well under pressure and help close loans in 30 days or less
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to quickly learn preferred wholesale lender partners’ online portals and processes
  • Knowledge of and technical experience in Calyx Point, Fannie Mae Desktop Originator and Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor interfaces, Adobe Acrobat (editing, merging, extracting PDF documents), Proficient to Advanced level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Mortgage Industry Experience: Minimum 1 year
  • CA NMLS license required
  • Spanish speaker a plus

Experience

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Qualifications and Pre-Approvals: Assist the MLO in the pre-qualification and pre-approval process for potential borrowers, including all steps from update price quotes and online application to document gathering, running credit, AUS, and all steps necessary to finalize a pre-approval
  • Borrower Eligibility Review: Ability to review income, asset, and credit documentation per guideline requirements and request follow-up documents as necessary
  • Pre-Processing Setup: Prepare a complete package per individual lender requirements to submit to processing after accurately generating and borrower initial broker and lender e-disclosures
  • File Management: Proactively and enthusiastically communicate and manage expectations with all applicable parties on outstanding items needed, provide regular status updates via email and/or phone throughout the entire transaction, and assist in resolving file problems or other issues as they arise
  • CRM Updates: Proactively use and update company CRM through all points of the transaction, including major milestones, maintain consistent note-taking on an individual file basis, and monitor drip campaigns across leads and prospects
  • Maintain and document all communications and correspondence with prospects, clients, vendors, and Realtors within the CRM
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and keep up with industry guidelines, changes and updates across all conventional and government programs, including various preferred wholesale lender partner overlays, and online-based wholesale lender portals and processes
